These retailers have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to supporting passions and causes in their local communities in important areas such as environment, community, health, education, and pets.

Putnam Subaru Provides School Supply Kits to Sunnybrae Elementary - Paolo A
On Thursday, August 7, 2025, Putnam Subaru provided school supply kits to the students of Sunnybrae Elementary in San Mateo. Administrators will have extra school supplies available for distribution for teachers usage and utilization with their students!
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Blanket Delivery - Kofo M
On July 9th, Putnam Subaru and the LLS Northern California chapter had the pleasure of delivering 80 blankets and 50 patient care kits to Dorothy E. Schneider Cancer Center - Mills Peninsula Medical Center as part of the Subaru Loves To Care program. These comforting gifts were accompanied by personalized messages of hope written by the customers and staff of Putnam Subaru. This year, Putnam Subaru has also opted to support the LLS Urgent Need Program, Pediatric, which will provide 10 blood cancer patients financial relief to help offset non-medical costs associated with treatment, such as transportation, food, housing, utilities, etc. This incredible act of generosity was warmly received by the Dorothy E. Schneider Cancer Center - Mills Peninsula Medical Center staff, who were thrilled to distribute these comforting gifts to their patients. Being able to deliver a small gesture of comfort to patients perfectly captures why this program exists. Many thanks to Putnam Subaru and Dorothy E. Schneider Cancer Center - Mills Peninsula Medical Center hospital, not only for a memorable day, but for supporting LLS's mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

On July 9th, the Putnam Subaru team donated blankets the to Mills-Peninsula Medical Center. Proud to partner with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, donation drop-offs were made to the patients of the Dorothy Schneider Cancer Center. Our team utilized the Dark Green 2025 Subaru Ascent for transport.
Putnam Subaru Supports Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula - San Mateo Park - Joshua S
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Burlingame, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Putnam Subaru is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Putnam Subaru have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 01/13/2025, Putnam Subaru donated 120 coats to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula - San Mateo Park. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

Putnam Subaru Partners with Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula to Provide Coats for Local Kids - Oz M
Putnam Subaru is proud to be part of Subaru Loves to Help, and to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula in our mission to give back to the community. This year, we had the privilege of partnering with Operation Warm Coat to donate 120 coats to local children. These coats will help keep kids warm, ensuring they have the support they need during colder months. We are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community, and this donation is just one of the many ways we continue to give back through the Subaru Loves to Help initiative.

This year, we had the privilege of distributing trees to local community members as part of the largest corporate tree distribution program ever! At Putnam Subaru, we are committed to fostering a supportive and caring community. As part of our dedication to mental health awareness, we were proud to sponsor the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Walks San Mateo event this year. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMIWalks raises awareness about mental health issues and helps reduce stigma. The yearly NAMIWalks Event is an opportunity for us to come together as a community and show our support for mental health awareness. Putnam Subaru's support and enthusiasm in participating in this year's event made a powerful impact for the NAMIWalks San Mateo, helping to raise awareness and funds for mental health services in our community. Putnam Subaru was proud to walk together in support of mental health awareness!
Subaru Loves Pets Adoption Event at San Francisco SPCA with Putnam Subaru in Burlingame! - Nelson M
According to the ASPCA, nearly 6.5 million companion animals enter shelters nationwide last year, where many wait to find a loving home. That’s why, as part of the annual #SubaruLovesPets initiative, we at Putnam Subaru in Burlingame partnered with San Francisco SPCA to help cover essential costs for preparing animals for adoption, veterinary expenses, and more at a special event this last October at the SF SPCA in San Francisco! The special Adoption Event included $100 off adoption fees for all animals, along with fun gifts, curtesy of Putnam Subaru! There were many eager adopters throughout the day, and we are thrilled to report that 33 dogs and cats found their forever homes! We are thrilled for all of the pets who have found their way to loving homes.
