The 2020 Subaru Outback Is All-New & Has Even More To Love

Ever since the Subaru Outback first hit the road 25 years ago, it has been taking Bay Area drivers on all kinds of adventures with safe, reliable, and spirited performance while taking the road less traveled. Back in April at the New York Auto Show Subaru debuted the totally redesigned 2020 Outback and needless to say, there are even more reasons to love the Outback.

No matter where the road may take San Francisco drivers, the 2020 Outback is ready for bigger adventures with two new BOXER engines, more maximum cargo space, and more towing power. Outback lovers will be ecstatic to hear that the 2020 Outback will be once again available with a turbo BOXER engine. The 2.4L four-cylinder turbo that generates 260 horsepower and can tow up to 3,500 lbs. While the new base engine is a revised 2.5L four-cylinder that now generates 182 horsepower and gets up to 33 highway mpg. The 2020 Outback also has 75.7 cubic feet of maximum cargo space for increased cargo carrying abilities.

There is a wide array of new premium materials inside the 2020 Outback for a more luxurious space with a new 11.6-inch touchscreen multimedia display at the center on every model except the base. The new STARLINK multimedia system features new apps including Chimani. Which connects your Outback to over 400 National Parks with compressive maps, park history, and highlights written by local traveler experts. Another new tech feature that the 2020 Outback has to offer is Subaru DriverFocus distracted and drowsy mitigation system.
